Welcome to Tithe Farm's Liberal Democrat Focus Team
Houghton Regis Town Council.
Elections were held in May 2007. All 4
vacancies were won by Liberal Democrats.
 
Councillor Gerald Fill
101 Sundon Rd, Houghton Regis. . Email.
Married with 1 child at school, and a resident of
Houghton Regis since 1986. A carer-escort assisting
with Adult Care. Gerald believes more should be
done for youths in the town, is concerend about
housing development proposals in the north of
Houghton Regis and the impact that will have on
hospital resources and transport.

Councillor Shirley Gilchrist

A resident of Sundon Road since 1974, Shirley is a
governor at St. Vincent's School in Houghton Regis.
Shirley has a particular interest in tree planting,
maintenance and improvements of the cemetery and
the recreation grounds. Cllr Gilchrist is on the
Steering Committee of the Tithe Farm Neighbourhood
Centre.

12 years a resident of Tithe Farm, Karen is married
with 5 children and 9 grandchildren. For the past 6
years she has been involved in the running of
independent Scout Association and is the current
Assistant Chief Commissioner of the Bedfordshire
Pathfinders Scouts Association. Karen believes
there should be more activities for children, and
more adults involved in helping to make child and
youth activities safe.
